"You see, they were like brother and sister,very close and good friends......He became uncontrollable, forced and raped my 95 lb. mother.She was devastated, he was ashamed..."
It was a miracle that she actually had me because she was not, according to the doctors, physically able to have children. She did however conceive one daughter and another daughter ten years after the first. It was believed that it would be physically impossible for her to conceive another child. Noting also that nine years before my birth there was a son that was a still birth and did not make it. As she found herself part of the divorced women population, she bravely raised two girls while pursuing her college education as a single woman in the 1960's. So when she found herself pregnant with me, I'm sure, although we never discussed it, she had to be thinking how and why. She was, however, most certainly receiving pressure to have me aborted from doctors, friends and family.
Seven months later, I was born Lyrica Joy, a name given by God to my mom which means "Song of Joy". God even gave my mom a song to sing to this little premature baby born with a hole in her heart, weighing less than 4 lbs. and very sickly, called "Joy Song." I can still hear her singing it to me! Isn't it ironic that a baby conceived of rape would be ALIVE and called a "Song of Joy"!?! It is written..."According as He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:" Eph. 1:4 It is also written..."Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." Jer. 1:5. Hallelujah! Because of His love, a child any chosen child can come to Him, serve Him, and be loved by Him and made without blame before Him!"

Apostle Lyrica Smith has accepted the call of the Lord. This has lead to her founding Kingdom Arts International Ministries, Inc. and Kingdom Arts Worship Arts Academy, which has grown to become Kingdom Institute International and Kingdom Institute International for the Arts. Kingdom Institute International for the Arts has a vision to "Return The Creation to the Creator" and "To prepare Artists for the Ministry". This is done by the combination of excellent technical training and teaching of the Word of God, The Holy Scriptures concerning the arts, as tools for evangelism, worship, praise and deliverance! Lyrica is the international president and founder of The International Christian Artists Network; an organization dedicated to networking artisans around the world! She has ministered in over 30 countries including Israel, Bahamas, Jamaica, Haiti, England, France, Crotia, Barbados, and across the United States.
Lyrica Joy Smith, "Song of Joy" as she is affectionately called by God and those that know her, is a minister with a call to unite and heal the Body of Christ, of racism, denominational division, and lives filled with less than total victory given to us through Christ Jesus! Lyrica shares openly and honestly her walk with the Lord to help others heal and to find purpose in life's difficult situations. Her candid teaching sessions have helped thousands across the globe come into a deeper revelation of God's presence throughout the tough and seemingly lonely times in their lives. Lyrica has appeared on the Trinity Broadcasting Networks'(TBN) "Praise the Lord" program for her ability to inspire others and release the Joy of the Lord!
Lyrica is a former professional dancer with a New York Tour, music videos, choreographer of musicals, stage cantatas, televised music award shows to her credit. Lyrica believes in the blessings of deliverance in dance as a form of worship and spiritual warfare. With a call to unite the Body of Christ, she is used as a tool of God to birth worship arts ministries world-wide! Lyrica's teaching ministry is equally of dance instruction presentation pageantry worship and the teaching preaching of the Word of God. Lyrica has many teaching audio and video tape series to help the Body of Christ grow in the knowledge of and have a better relationship with God and one another.
